Plain terms

What data staffing is

Employers search for staffing when they need a person in the seat, and they search for recruiting when they mean the same hire. On this site both words mean data roles only. We do not staff general IT, help desk, or unrelated software jobs.

The hub for that work is data talent recruiting. City pages cover data recruiting in Oklahoma City and data recruiting in Tulsa.

Timing

How long a data hire takes

A search moves at the speed of the role definition, the pay band, and how fast your team can interview. We do not promise a fixed number of days, a retention rate, or a warranty. The written plan names each step and who owns it before sourcing starts.

What a data staffing search covers

Contract

A data professional for a defined period or project, still screened for the real work.

Contract to hire

A contract start with a written path to a permanent seat if both sides agree.

Permanent

A direct hire who will own the pipeline, the model, the database, or the team.

Role definition

We separate a data engineer seat from an analyst seat before the search starts.

Screening

Evidence of the work, not a keyword match on the resume.

Written terms

Fees, the pay basis, and replacement language live in the agreement, not in a slogan.

Roles

Roles we staff

The roles employers ask for most are a data engineer, a data analyst, a Power BI developer, and a SQL Server DBA. We also hire BI developers, analytics engineers, database developers, ETL developers, warehouse engineers, data architects, and data leaders. Every role page is linked from the recruiting guide.

Screening

How screening works

We ask what the person has already shipped. A data engineer walkthrough covers a pipeline and a broken load. An analyst walkthrough covers a metric definition and a number two departments disagreed on. A DBA walkthrough covers a restore and a slow production query. The scorecard is written before the first interview.

Fees

What employers should ask about fees

Our recruiting agency fees guide cites a US market range of about 15 to 25 percent of first year pay for contingency recruiting. That range is not Oklahoma Data Partners' fee. Ask for written terms. Compare the pay basis, when the fee is due, and what happens if the hire leaves. Do not compare percentages alone.
